CANADA: Nivea has named Tessa Virtue, Canadian ice dancer, World Champion and Olympic Gold medalist, as its first Canadian brand ambassador. In the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, alongside ice dancing partner Scott Moir, Virtue became the youngest ice dancing champion in Olympic history and most recently in PyeongChang, the dynamic duo dazzled spectators around the globe when they became the record-breaking, most decorated ice dancing team. “Nivea is a brand that is trusted to make users look and feel their best, genuinely and confidently. Tessa exemplifies the same qualities on and off the ice, which makes her a very natural fit to be our brand ambassador. We are both humbled and excited to have her on our team,” said Nivea marketing director Julia Geissen.
